Signal you can rely on

Conjugates are central to sensitive and reproducible immunoassay detection. By chemically linking enzymes to detection systems with high specificity, they translate molecular binding events into measurable signals. Mabtech conjugates are optimized to work seamlessly with our assays, delivering dependable performance across applications.

Conjugates for ELISpot

In ELISpot assays, conjugates enable precise visualization of cytokine or antibody secretion at the single-cell level. Mabtech ELISpot systems typically rely on streptavidin–enzyme conjugates that bind with high affinity to biotinylated detection antibodies, ensuring specific and robust signal development.

We offer conjugates based on alkaline phosphatase (ALP) or horseradish peroxidase (HRP), each paired with validated substrates. ALP is often preferred for ELISpot due to its controlled reaction kinetics and long-lasting spots, while HRP provides a faster reaction when shorter development times are desired. Both options are carefully optimized to deliver clear, well-defined spots with low background.

Conjugates for ELISA

In ELISA, enzyme conjugates serve as sensitive markers for quantitative detection. We offer streptavidin–HRP and streptavidin–ALP conjugates, compatible with a wide range of biotinylated antibodies and assay formats. Both enzymes catalyze colorimetric reactions, converting binding events into robust readouts.

We generally recommend HRP for ELISA due to its rapid kinetics and shorter assay time, while ALP offers more linear signal development that can be advantageous in certain setups. Subtle differences aside, both conjugate systems are carefully validated to ensure consistent performance and reliable quantification – allowing you to choose what best fits your workflow.
