Multiplex assays you can trust
We’re introducing a brand new magnetic bead-based multiplex assay, EYRAplex. Combining Mabtech’s trusted monoclonal antibody pairs with magnetic beads, EYRAplex assays are designed to deliver reliable results every time. From focused 6-plex panels to broad 30-plex formats, EYRAplex lets you analyze more with less saving you time, resources, and sample volume.
The same, highly specific mAb pairs used in our ELISpot, FluoroSpot, and ELISA assays are now available in a new multiplex format with EYRAplex. And with our recombinant mAbs and novel assay buffer, heterophilic antibody interference is a thing of the past. Keep reading to learn more!
EYRAplex kits can be used with either Mabtech EYRA™ or most flow cytometers.
What does your signal look like?
Tight, well-resolved peaks in EYRAplex reflect optimized antibody pairs and accurate standard curves – giving you confidence in every PE signal, and in your data.
Our goal is always to design tools that simply work and give you data you can rely on. When benchmarking EYRAplex kits against other bead-based assay providers, our mAb pairs showed comparable or even superior sensitivity. Choosing the optimal mAb pairs is truly an art form we've been perfecting for over 36 years!
What does this mean for you? No guesswork, just clearer and more accurate insights into the immune mechanisms at play in your samples driving your therapies, vaccines, and research forward.
How efficient is your assay?
EYRAplex is designed to maximize data output while minimizing sample, reagents, and time. By enabling true multiplex analysis in a single well, EYRAplex dramatically reduces sample consumption compared with traditional single-analyte ELISAs, making it ideal for precious or volume-limited samples.
In addition to lower material use, EYRAplex streamlines workflows by replacing multiple parallel ELISA assays with one integrated assay. Fewer plates, fewer pipetting steps, and shorter assay time translate into faster turnaround and improved reproducibility.
For CROs and pharma teams running high-throughput studies or complex biomarker panels, this efficiency means lower cost per data point, higher scalability, and greater confidence that every sample delivers meaningful results.
How robust if your assay to interference?
Even at increasing levels of rheumatoid factor, EYRAplex delivers accurate results, while non-optimized assays show rising false-positive signals.
When we started on our assay development journey, we looked to current multiplex assay offerings and the issues they were facing. We quickly discovered that many assays had major issues with heterophilic antibody interference. Heterophilic antibodies, including human anti-mouse antibodies (HAMA), commonly interfere with assays, leading to false positives by cross-linking capture and detection antibodies or false negatives by blocking one of them. This issue increases in autoimmune diseases and infections, i.e., clinical samples.
EYRAplex assays address this by using optimized detection mAbs and a specialized assay buffer to block interference giving you the most accurate data possible.
Confidence in every well
We know your samples are precious and your results must be trusted. That’s why we pair proven assay technology with direct access to experienced support scientists. If something doesn’t go as planned, we’ll work with you to get it right.
Because our goal isn’t just an assay that runs, it’s an assay that delivers trustworthy results, every single time.
Bead IDs: the key to multiplexing
At the core of magnetic bead-based multiplexing lies the Bead ID.
In EYRAplex assays, each magnetic bead is dyed with a unique ratio of fluorescent dyes, creating a distinct Bead ID. A specific capture antibody is immobilized on each bead type, linking the Bead ID directly to a single analyte. This elegant design enables true multiplexing allowing all analytes to be measured simultaneously in a single well using a shared PE detection signal.
Mabtech EYRA™ with the RAWsphere algorithm identifies the Bead ID and quantifies the PE signal intensity, easily matching each fluorescent event to its correct analyte.
