Description
The ready-to-use ELISA diluent is a buffer that prevents false-positive signals. It blocks heterophilic antibodies from cross-linking the assay antibodies. Heterophilic antibodies are commonly found in human serum/plasma and can also be present in other species. The ELISA diluent has been validated using serum/plasma from healthy human blood donors. It is optimized for use with ELISA kits and antibodies from Mabtech. Please consult our ELISA products for assay recommendations since some analytes require other assay-specific buffers.
