Our first peptide pool for non-human primates is up on the site now!
This scanning pool covers two proteins: TP-UL83 from cynomolgus macaque CMV and Rh112 from rhesus macaque CMV. Both are homologous to the highly immunogenic pp65 in CMV – that’s double the fun!
One recent study showed high seroprevalence for macaque CMV in both cynomolgus and rhesus macaques in captivity (Kaul et al. 2019). So, we’re thinking this type of peptide pool could serve as a control while you take a closer look at antigen-specific immune responses – using ELISpot and FluoroSpot, of course.
